The moment a worker picks up a device they're required to log in — via NFC badge tap, PIN or barcode scan. That single action creates accountability for everything that follows. A 30-second timer ensures no device leaves its home location without a named user attached to it. If nobody logs in, the device alarms loudly until it's returned or authenticated.

One log-in also triggers equipment check-out. Workers tap or scan any additional items they're taking — printers, headsets, ring scanners, safety equipment — so every item leaving that station is tracked to one person, every shift.
