When Adrian Lawson was the CEO for a tech and managed services company in Bristol, he saw first-hand the challenges that companies have when managing their mobile devices day to day, and the cost to those companies as a result. Whether they were tablets, smart phones or rugged PDAs, it was a huge problem and he was determined to find a solution to these challenges.
Traditional MDM tools were not resolving the problems of missing devices!
Nor do traditional MDM tools eliminate the significant downtime associated with the issuing out and receiving back of shared devices, which usually requires a manual process.
A new type of platform was required, one that enables the operations teams to wise up and solve these significant day to day issues that fall outside of the IT department. They need to know where, when and how their mobile devices are being used.
and that’s why it has become the UK’s leader in providing the tools required to slash the problem of missing/lost devices and to facilitate highly efficient and secure issuing/returning of those devices.
Adrian also has another philosophy, he wants his software business to be the most agile in this space, to turn around product fixes and enhancements in response times that shame the other players in this market. This means customers get fast resolution to mission critical process issues and fast process improvements driven by Waizu.
He likes to think of Waizu as an upstart startup, and he’s right, we’re already shaking the market up!
